Sydney Swans tipped as winners by hungry saltwater crocodile

A saltwater crocodile has used a very unique way to predict which footy team will take out the AFL Grand Final.

Pinjarra, a 55-year-old male saltwater crocodile from SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium, was offered two legs of lamb – each hanging over logos of the Sydney Swans and Geelong Cats.

Pinjarra immediately went straight for the Swannies slab of meat, with keepers claiming this as an ominous sign the NSW team will come out triumphant at tomorrow’s Grand Final match.

The crocodile did eventually get to the Geelong leg of lamb but the Swans one was the undeniable favourite.

The Sydney Swans take on the Geelong Cats at the MCG tomorrow from 2.30pm AEST.
